Almost perfect but huge issue

When I use the barcode scanner which is my favorite thing about this it doesnt let me add it to the recipe Im trying to add it to. Instead it says "log today" not "add food" so I have to favorite that item go back to add food and go through my favorites and find it then add it. I payed money for this app and it should be able to work more flawlessly
